«Time and Countertime»
This installation consists of a real clump of ice that melts in the course of time. The melting process is recorded and then played back in reverse, i.e. the electronic counterpart recorded on video – the 'countertime' – inverts the natural process. A relationship of antithesis exists between the reality and the video image.
