«Tuning-fork oscillator»

Tuning-fork oscillator, after Helmholtz. Electromagnetically, a tuning fork is made to vibrate, and while gradually opening and closing the so-called Helmholtz regulator, positioned to the right and facing it, the sound’s volume can be regulated in relation to the other tuning-fork oscillators.
