Handshake
«FieldExcursion»
The ‘FieldExursion' project dealt with the abandoned site of a barracks near Potsdam formerly used by the Soviet Army. Between July and September 1994, 20 artists were able to work on the site. Since the barracks were still out of bounds to the general public, Handshake used the World-Wide Web to provide access to the on-going processes in Krampnitz.
Handshake was incorporated into the newly founded ‘Internationale Stadt' at the beginning of 1995.
