* 1939. She has been making paintings, collages, assemblages, small scale sculptures, installations, films, prints, artist books, photographs, videotapes, as well as performance works combining these media with movement and spoken text. She collaborated with artists, poets, choreographers, filmmakers and musicians, and her work was a highly controversial exploration of sexuality without being limited to critical and feminist issues since the early 1960s.
