 Dieter Roth

b 1930 in Hanover; studied graphic design, Bern (CH); 1964-67 taught at the University of Yale, Philadelphia Museum School of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design (USA); since 1968 publications; artistic work mainly with transient materials like refuse, chocolate, sour milk and music; lived in Iceland for a long time; died in 1998.
