 Günther Petzold

b 1938 in Dresden; 1956-63 studied Architecture at the Technischen Hochschule (Technical College), Dresden (GDR); since 1964 stage set designer for East German television; since 1994, Instructor of Video Experiments at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (College of Visual Arts), Dresden; 1995 Professor of Scenography at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen (College of Film and Television), Potsdam-Babelsberg; lives and works in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
