Carsten Nicolai
b 1965 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (GDR); 1985-90 studied landscape architecture at the Technische Universität, Dresden (GDR); 1990 founded the «Oscar» producers‘ gallery, Chemnitz; co-founder of the «Voxxx» culture factory, Chemnitz; artistic work with electronic sound and installations; lives and works in Chemnitz (D).
