Wolfgang Menge
born 1924 in Berlin; training at the German News Service; journalist for the daily paper Hamburger Abendblatt; 1954 for the daily Die Welt as correspondent in Tokyo and Hongkong. TV-director for family programs, script author for the suspense series «Stahlnetz» and finally author of one of the most daring TV productions in Germany in the early 1970s with «Millionenspiel» and «Smog.»
