b 1959 in Dusseldorf; 1980-84 studied media education at the Fachhochschule Dusseldorf (Dipl.); 1984-88 course in Japanese studies and eastern Asian mythology at the Freie Universität, Berlin; from 1984 work with light and projections in public spaces; lives and works in Dusseldorf.
