b 1943 in Kliding/Cochem; 1964-70 studied free graphics at the Fachhochschule für Design und Kunst, Cologne; from 1970 work with drawings, performances, video and photography; to 1975 taught at the Fachhochschule in Cologne; other visiting professorships at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg, the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich and the Gesamthochschule in Kassel; lives and works in Cologne.
