b 1945 in Hamburg; 1972 Ph.D. in Art History at the University of Munich; 1976 International Summer Academy Salzburg (A); since 1978 artistic work with video, installations and multimedia performances; since 1992 professorship at the Gesamthochschule Kassel; lives and works in Munich.
